         was born in June, 1999 as a society of professionals for companies. The staff has remarkable experiences in information technology, Multimedia and Telecommunication Technology. The experience acquired during the years makes these business figures key points in the field of consulting for new technologies: Web-based application and Wireless application.

After consolidating knowledges and experiences done during the previous years, BITWEEN s.r.l. has been constitute in January 2000. It’s a society oriented in developing new technologies based on Internet, Intranet and Wireless. It’s composed by a real team of developers.

Proficiency in technical field, that is a critical factor of company success, immediately finds her reply, and BiTween is so engaged in important projects with Italy Samsung Electronics S.p.A., Gensoft ITT S.p.A. and Brondi S.p.A.

(First Company), January 2000, first project. It deals with the development and state of advancement of works in a national selling centre for technical service. The plan has the possibility to control the state of the equipment by Internet, and it can directly signs eventual breakdowns. This kind of system has been revolutionary because it allows to see the job store clercks on Internet in real time. It has transformed a technical system of control in a trading and marketing powerful instrument.

Thanks to this success, the project of Samsung Italy S.p.A. is signed on February, 2000. A system of new conception is planned and his name is Y2K WIRELESS SERVICE NEW MILLENIUM. The software has been created in order to manage in local and remote area (via Internet) a Service of repairing and technical service. It allows to pull down the times of give back of the articles from 30 to 15 effective working days (50% of the time). The system takes advantage of a particular kind of technology, subsequently called D-Push (database Push). Thanks to this new technology the center point can control the advancement state of the job that the beyond 750 City Point Samsung have done. Moreover, the system can produce statistics in real time. The Samsung Project goes on growing, and in June BiTween signs an agreement for the achievement of an important control system with Samsung Italy S.p.A. It deals with the general control of City Point’s sale flows.

In March, 2000 BiTween signs a trade agreement with Gensoft ITT S.p.A. to produce the line Translation, a software system based on socket technology. The product line is a group of new conception software for translations (texts, e-mail, web), that can be used with any kind of browser. These agreements with Gensoft ITT S.p.A. lead BiTween to to create a new WAP engine which is intended to be used as Server and Gateway. In October, 2000 a new version of the software is issued; it makes the best of wireless protocol: Personal WAP. It deals with a revolutionary micro-gateway for the navigation and interaction with his own PC via WAP. The product took part in the final selection at 33° SMAU award. Moreover, it has been granted a micro-gateway WAP version for Win32 (NT and 2000) and Linux (Red Hat KDE) in November. The collaboration BiTween-Gensoft ITT still goes on, and during this time it has produced for them a series of important software: Remote Control, Mini Office and Gensoft PhotoPaint, as well as a series of multimedia courses. In this way BiTween reaches a total of about 28 titles at the end of May, 2001 for Gensoft ITT SpA.

In June, 2000 BiTween signs an agreement with Brondi S,p,A, to develop a business Service on Internet. The project aims at managing all the technical assistance centres of Brondi, all over Italy. Later, about 120 C.A.T. will be installed.
