Remote Control is a Client/Server application for the PDA  hand-held computer that let you
have full access of your PC over a TCP/IP family of
connection either a modem or wireless connection.
Remote Control Server side
will be installed and run on a Win95/98/ME/NT Wks or a NT/2000 Server to control the
machines (typically the machine to be controlled)
Remote Control Client side will be installed
and run on a PDA PalmOS/PsionOS or PocketPC OS to have the facilities to control the PC.
Remote Control provides resolution in Grey
Scale , 16 Colors and 256 Colors depending on your PDA. The server side can be run as a
service if you have a server side computer like NT / 2000 Server. With the feature of
zooming you can decide the display of your screen in several scale percentage . Remote
Control let you move your windows files , copy and paste, print you documents and send
faxes as you wish.
With the port setting
you can configure it in the base of your system administrator setting to bypass the
firewall.
On the server side you can control the
number of user that have access and configure for each user their settings and password.
Remote Control is available in English and Italian, meanwhile French , German and Spanish
will be available soon.
The compression engine will speed up the
process of refresh period , so with this product you can even use a mobile with a lower
speed and have a good quality image and speed response.
Administrator and ISP can have the facilities to control
important server with the light use of their PDA everywhere with a click of a pen. |
